About CVMU Charutar Vidya Mandal University (CVM University) (Estd. 2019), Vallabh Vidyanagar, Gujarat, India – a leading University of Gujarat having a strong lineage of pre-independence era (1945 onwards) Managed by a renowned Trust – Charutar Vidya Mandal (CVM) with a vision of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, established under the Gujarat Act No. 8 of 2009, Government of Gujarat. About The Public Knowledge Project (PKP) of Simon Fraser University (SFU): The Public Knowledge Project (PKP) is an initiative established at Simon Fraser University (SFU) that focuses on developing open-source software for scholarly publishing. It is a partnership between the Faculty of Education at the University of British Columbia, the Canadian Centre for Studies in Publishing at Simon Fraser University, the University of Pittsburgh, Ontario Council of University Libraries, the California Digital Library and the School of Education at Stanford University. It seeks to improve the scholarly and public quality of academic research through the development of innovative online environments. PKP aims to improve the quality and accessibility of scholarly research by providing tools like Open Journal Systems (OJS), Open Monograph Press (OMP), and Open Preprint Systems (OPS). These platforms enable academics, publishers, and institutions to manage the entire publishing process, from submission and peer review to publication and indexing, fostering open access and increasing the visibility of scholarly work.
